Words of thought from our Church Team

GO!

God calls us to testify to the saving and transforming power of the gospel in order to see people, families, cultures and countries made new by Christ (2 Cor. 5:17, excerpt from BPCC Who We Are booklet). This Sunday we are celebrating the work God is doing through BPCC Care Team. BPCC Care Team are involved in; Care Cupboard (giving groceries to families and individuals in need), assisting families with meals and help around the home, driving for those with no means of transport, and much more. If this is a ministry you are able to become involved in, you can sign up on Sunday or contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

In recent weeks we have also celebrated that over 60 children have been released from poverty in Jesus’ name through the ministry of Compassion.  We received a communique from a pastor in one of the Churches we are partnering with in Ban Non Muan Church Development, he wrote; ‘Thank you very much for supporting your child in our Centre. The lives of the children have been improved by the Centre. They hear the Word of God, and they receive training and teaching. Most do not have this chance before…. Our vision is to help the community hear the Gospel and accept Christ…

The Global Witness of BPCC extends to other various parts of the globe, too. Please continue to pray for the New Life Orphanage in Myanmar and also for the S.W.I.M team (Supporting Work in Missions) in the Solomon Islands. There are many ministries and organisations that people at BPCC are involved in, both globally and locally.

Praise God for the endless list of ways we can love one another and be a witness for Jesus. Praise God that he has made us uniquely and that we each have a specific desire to share the love of Christ in different ways. Being a witness for Jesus involves missions both locally and globally, it also includes the way we love one another in our families, workplaces, neighbourhoods and social groups. May our prayer be that we all follow God’s calling for us to testify to the saving and transforming power of the gospel in order to see people, families, cultures and countries made new by Christ!

‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth’. Acts 1:8
