Love and Respect

Slowly but surely our church family are returning from Christmas and New Year holidays. Carla and I have returned from our annual camping trip with all our adult children and grandchildren. We had a fantastic time! We relaxed, recharged, and we’re now looking forward to all that God will do in and through us all in the new year ahead.

One of our church ministries Carla and I are passionate about, is Love & Respect. Over the years, we’re facilitated this Marriage Relationship Seminar for well over 100 couples and the overwhelming feedback has been positive and encouraging. Starting this coming Tuesday for six consecutive weeks, we’ll be leading another Love & Respect Growth Group. We invite you to join us – simply register at the Connections Centre, or by emailing me at This email address is being protected from spambots. Love & Respect
Starts: Tuesday 19 January
Time: 7.30 to 9.00PM
Venue: Church Office (upstairs)
Cost: $50 per couple (includes manual)

Here’s what is written on the back of the Love & Respect seminar manual:
Have you been looking for a marriage study that is so entertaining and enlightening that your marriage improves almost immediately?
This course unpacks 5 key principles that will create “Ah Ha” moments and bring fresh insight into your marriage. In this SIX BUILDING BLOCK GROWTH GROUP STUDY you will learn how to: value you unique differences, resist misleading cultural influences, refocus on what made you friends, understand your spouse’s mother tongue, and effectively influence the relationship.
Since 1999, Dr Emerson and Sarah Eggerichs have been helping couple learn the simple, yet profound Biblical truths about how women need Love and men need Respect. This study guide and companion DVD expand on that revolutionary truth.

We invite you to join us in this very helpful marriage enrichment experience.
In grace
