Words of thought from our Church Team

New Website / Online Giving

As most of you are probably aware we recently launched a BRAND NEW WEBSITE (www.bpcc.com.au)! We are extremely pleased with the new site as it is clear, up-to-date and reflective of who we are as a church family. We hope that you will take the time to have a tour and familiarize yourself with the new site.

You will notice that the website is organized around our strategy: CONNECT – GROW – SERVE – GO. This was an intentional decision so as to make clear the pathway of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and a member of His church. CONNECT will have information on ways that you can connect to the Church while GROW has the avenues available for you to grow in your walk with Jesus at BPCC. SERVE and GO will show you the opportunities available to serve at BPCC and to get on with Jesus' mission in both our community and the world.

Another function of the new website that we are really excited about is the ability to GIVE ONLINE. Simply, by clicking the blue 'Give Online' button and filling out a short form you can complete your regular giving through the website, either as a one-off or recurring payment. It really is simple to do and we hope you will take advantage of it.

Let me take the opportunity to remind you that we give, not just because Jesus commands us too (Matt. 19:21; Luke 10:30-37; 12:13-21; John 12:1-8; 2 Cor. 8:1-15; Prov. 3:9;) or because money can so easily entangle our hearts (Matt. 6:24; Heb. 13:5-6; Rev. 3:17; Eccl. 10:9). Rather, we give cheerfully, sacrificially, and regularly because it is our good and proper response to all that God is and all that he has done for us. When we understand the joy of giving in response to God's grace, "how much does God want?" becomes "how much can I give?"
I look forward to many more years of giving and serving together with you to see Jesus lifted up in our lives and in our community.

Blessings,
Pastor John
