Ladies you’re invited to ‘Priceless High Tea’
On Saturday 20th of June from 3-5pm, BPCC will be hosting a High Tea in support of ‘Priceless Life Centre.’ During the course of the afternoon there will be the opportunity to meet with friends, learn about Priceless Life Centre, peruse and purchase gifts/goods from speciality stores, and of course, enjoy the delicious High Tea. Tickets are $10 each, with all ticket sales (and profits from speciality stores) going towards supporting Priceless Life Centre.
Priceless Life Centre offers hope for those experiencing an unexpected pregnancy. They also provide quality values-based education programs. They are committed to ensuring women and men have access to accurate information and the support they require to make real and informed choices when experiencing unexpected pregnancy. During the afternoon we will also hear stories about the practical ways in which Priceless Life Centre has changed the lives of many.
Personally, I am excited about the High Tea, not just to socialise and enjoy some delicious treats, but to also have the opportunity to, like Proverbs 31:8 says, ‘Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed’. You see, by supporting Priceless Life I believe we can speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; unborn babies and parents who are journeying through painful memories relating to unborn babies, as well as men and women who are currently experiencing the confusion of unexpected pregnancy. The High Tea will also be a chance to develop our thinking about these issues, and to further equip ourselves in how to offer ‘hope in unexpected pregnancy’. Will you join me in taking advantage of this opportunity to "speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves”?
To register for the High Tea you can visit the church website www.bpcc.com.au and purchase tickets online (or follow this link: http://goo.gl/forms/8ALkIxWNg5), or you can call the Church Office on (07) 3882 1989. There is also an event page on Facebook (just search ‘Priceless High Tea’).
Don’t worry, men, you’re not forgotten! Even though you can’t come along to the High Tea you can still support Priceless Life Centre by visiting their website (http://pricelesslifecentre.org.au/) to become more informed about the issues and to donate.
